MSU Comics Forum

Having a table at MSU Comics Forum was a blast! I attended the event last year and have dreamed of participating in it ever since. There are lots of cool creators in the Lansing area. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check out my stuff!

**Also special shout out to my friend, Melissa for helping me!

This last comics event came pretty close to clearing me out of copies of Petrichor. I am beginning to think ahead about potentially printing new copies in a single book. More on that later.

Another annual February event is Hourly Comic Day-- a day spent drawing the events of every hour the artist is awake. Last year was my first year chiming in, and the 2017 edition was just as fun! Here are my entries:

Graphic novel update:
I am SO CLOSE to finishing page 75 of Minus. It's been a hectic week and I'm a little disappointed that I didn't finish it before the end of February, but I am happy to meet my 3rd milestone! We'll see if I can work any miracles and cut the story down to 150 pages. If that can happen, I can get the whole story drawn by the end of this year.

And as always, here is a doodle dump for the month:

The Start of 2017

2017 is here! It's time to grind away at my graphic novel as much as I can. If all goes well, I should have most of the book drawn by December this year.

A year has passed since I finished drawing my webcomic, Petrichor. The final page was posted in October of last year. It feels great to have successfully completed something and to be in the midst of another big project. I hope this steady progress continues and I can keep making book after book.

Here's my January doodle-dump:

By next month, I will have made it to my 3rd milestone (75 pages!) of my book-in-progress, Minus.

More good stuff to come. On to February!
