More on this short story as it develops. But it's been an exciting project thus far!I’m Matt Mair Lowery, writer and co-creator (with @CassieDoesArt) of Lifeformed, a YA sci-fi series at @DarkHorseComics. I'm currently working on short projects with the wonderful artists @TCannonComics, @lisanaffziger and #DaveLaw (https://t.co/2TaZlo0Ubu). #PortfolioDay #comics pic.twitter.com/1AbQInecpn— Matt Mair Lowery @ ECCC soon (@mattmlpdx) January 14, 2020
Last year I launched my kaiju webcomic Taking Back Tokusatsu. It's been received well online and I greatly appreciate the partnership with my Patreon supporters. Forty-eight pages are available to read on the comic's website and I've completed seventy-four pages over all. At this moment, chapter 2 has come to a close. I'm happy with the progress that I've made and I'm eager to push forward.
It's at this time of year that I remember the major milestone of completing my very first webcomic, Petrichor--something I accomplished four years ago. Since then, I haven't slowed down. I love comics and I'm so happy I can put them out in the world.
This month's Instagram drawing suggestion was different Digimon! These drawings were fun to put together and feel nostalgic.
And here's the rest of the month's sketch dump. On to February!
