To wrap up our Environments, Props, & Structures class, we created another four page comic--once again from a pre-made script.
The story? Two old men are watching some hot babes play at the bowling alley. One of the guys goes off on some tangent about flying planes in WWII. In the flashback, the man hears a noise coming from the front of the plane and goes to the cockpit to investigate. WE get to choose what he finds inside. The story ends with the two friends in the bowling alley, reacting to the story just told.
Ok. So here's the deal. We took a tour of the Mighty 8th Airforce Museum last week, and I'll have to admit it inspired me.
Each plane squadron had it's own insignia. Some had hawks, others had spiders, bears---fierce stuff. The 370th Squadron had a UNICORN as it's emblem.
I'm not joking.
So this is what really got me going, I suppose. That's why there's a unicorn in the cockpit...in case you were wondering.

This class was a tough one, but totally worthwhile. I'm glad it's part of the curriculum, for sure. It really took me outside my comfor tzone.
